Fall Ride to the Park

We took Emily on a tandem ride to the park on Sunday. It was a bit cool getting started, probably around 55 degrees, but it warmed up quickly and Emily seemed nice and comfy when she was in her jacket and fleece blanket. We rode to the park that is about 9 miles away and Emily practiced going through the tunnel and walking across the shaky bridge. She also went down the slide a few times, which she had recently been adamantly against. She's starting to get bolder on the playground, which is good. She can get into the tunnels all by herself and can walk on the bridge alone, too. Just a couple of weeks ago we had to help her do all of those things. It's too bad that it is going to be cold soon and our visits to parks will be a bit more limited before long.

Glad Emily is enjoying the playground. We have a nice one in our neighborhood so hopefully there will be good weather when you're visiting in December and Emily can play!

Emily, looks like you are having lots of fun at the playground and becoming quite bold. Hope the weather in NJ holds so you can continue taking Mommy & Daddy to the playground to play!

    Love,
    Gandy & Poppy
